A BIT ABOUT ME & THE STUDIO

Puzzles, Processes and Solutions

My name is Gilda (Jill-dah) and I wear the hats of project manager, principal designer and production artist at Taffet Graphics, a print and motion graphic design studio based in Sacramento, CA. My job is to craft clear and concise visual communication solutions to help clients tell a story, introduce a product or service, educate audiences on an issue, ask for action or provide inspiration.

To this end, I am well-marinated in design principles and planning and development processes for multimedia, print and online collateral and regularly produce large and small-scale print pieces and signage, interactive presentations, traditional and scripted animations, motion graphics, videos and web and online marketing projects.

My daily toolkit includes: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere. I also enjoy both analog (pencil/paper) and digital processes of refining rough copy into a polished script or marketing piece.

In order to expand the studio’s capabilities, I call on colleagues from my expanding network of creative professionals to provide specialized skills such as high-end photography, videography and illustration and social media strategy and deployment.

Recent multimedia projects include character animations and motion graphic pieces for Intel marketing and training; promotional and instructional animations for Cisco and Targus; animated educational videos for Kaiser Permanente; sequences for television and web advertising; corporate tradeshow displays and video projects.

Taffet Graphics is a California certified Small Business.
